Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Mary Wolryche (d.1771), manner of Michael Dahl (Stockholm 1656/9 – London 1743), circa 1720-30. A painted sculptured oval half-length portrait of the sister of Sir John Wolryche, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a red short-sleeved, decollette dress over a white chemise and and orange mantle worn over her left shoulder.
