Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Called The Wolryche Fool, the Wolryche Hunt Servant with the Dudmaston Ale Glass, attributed to George Alsop (fl.1722-1730), circa 1719. A three-quarter length portrait of man seated, turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, wearing a red cap, a brown coat with a scarf tied around neck. In his left hand he holds a smoking clay pipe, in his right hand he holds a massive goblet of red wine. Against dark background.
