Provenance
Dudmaston collection; the Edwards family collection. This jug was originally used as a beer/cider jug at Dudmaston. Afterwards it was owned by Charles and Louisa Edwards (the chaffeur and housemaid at Dudmaston earlier this century); passed down through their daughter Mary Eleanor Shorter (nee Edwards) to their grand-daughter Mrs Maurice Murray, who kindly returned to Dudmaston as a gift along with photographs of her mother and grandparents.
