Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Prince Frederick Louis, Prince of Wales (1707–1751) and Princess Augusta of Saxe-Gotha, Princess of Wales (1719–1772) after Jean-Baptiste van Loo (Aix-en-Provence 1684 - Aix-en-Provence 1745), after 1742 full-lerngth originals in the Royal Collection. Half-length portraits, he slightly turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, in garter robes and she, turned slightly to the right, head inclined to the left, gazing at the spectator, in white satin dress and red fur lined cloak.
