Summary
A walnut-veneered bookcase on chest, English, the base early to mid-18th century, the bookcase early 20th century. Topped by a moulded cornice above a cyma recta and ovolo-moulded frieze and a pair of glazed doors paned with half-round beading. The interior green-painted and fitted with three shelves. The base topped by a baize-lined softwood brushing slide, above three graduated long drawers, all lip-moulded, double feather-banded and lined with oak. On bracket feet.
