Summary
An oak 'credence'-type table, English, circa 1630. Lacking upper flap and rear gate, the semi-circular top a thick oak board, above channel-moulded rails and raised on three block and baluster-turned legs, joined by moulded stretchers.

Listed in the Parlour in the inventory taken at Bateman's in 1939.Bequeathed by Caroline Starr Balestier, Mrs Rudyard Kipling (1862-1939) with Bateman’s and its contents.
