Summary
The water bottle from a Scout uniform believed to have belonged to William Straw Jnr. Childs Scout water bottle in beige/light brown enamel metal with canvas strap and cork stopper on a chain. The bottle is round and constructed of two halves welded around the circumference. The neck is a separate cylindrical piece welded to the top. On the front stamped out from the back is an oval with 'Bukta REGISTRED' within it, the back is plain. The canvas strap has an adjustable buckle on one end with two teeth. The end that threads through comes to a point with a white cotton label hand sewn on, matching that of the hat, with 'Straw' handwritten in black ink. The set includes shirt with badge, one set of black ribbons and safety pin, one set of white ribbons with safety pin and a length of thread in the top left pocket, navy shorts, stripped belt with twist buckle and navy neckerchief, hat, water bottle, bag and a pair of sock garters.
