Summary
Two pairs of plimsolls and shoe box with a piece of brown tissue paper. Shoe box - cream coloured shoe box by 'FAME'. Separate lid that has become discoloured over time. The main box is plain to four sides with scuffing to the corners. On one end there is a product label stuck to the box. The label is in black, red, grey and white with 'FAME' at the top centre and a movie style filming light to each side, underneath in the centre a figure with plumed helmet and Greek style attire stood on a small plinth with another figure to each side. Underneath the figures is a black box with a white scroll running horizontally, in this is printed 'THE FAME SHOE'. To the left is two outlined boxes, in the top 'SAMPLE NO 2013' and the bottom 'SIZE 6'. On the right is two matching boxes to those on the left, in the top 'SAMPLE' and the bottom 'BOX BAL'. Plimsolls - White canvas topped pair of plimsolls made by 'HOOD MADE IN U . S . OF AMERICA'. The soles are black rubber with a red rubber makers label in the arch area. The tops are white canvas with reinforced heel made of a quarter circle of extra material on each side and a rubber toe. The lace holes have metal white enamelled eyelets and white cotton round laces with metal aglets at the end. Plimsolls - White canvas topped pair of plimsolls made by 'FLEET FOOT'. The soles are 'clear' rubber with a black rubber makers label in the arch area. The eyelets are metal with white enamel and flat white cotton laces with metal aglets on the end. The tops are white canvas with a central seem on the heel.
