Summary
Bulb pot, one of a pair, hard paste porcelain painted in enamels and gilded, Queen's Porcelain Factory, Rue Thiroux, Paris, France, circa 1780-1785. Of semi-circular form with Rococo decoration including vases, swags and bucrania. Base marked 'A' in red. The Queen's Porcelain Factory was established in 1776 by Andre Marie Leboeuf and, from 1778, was under the protection of Marie Antoinette.
