Summary
Bowl, hard paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded, Meissen Porcelain Factory, circa 1750 - 1755. With a scalloped gilded rim, painted with sprays of naturalistic flowers. Marked with crossed swords in underglaze blue.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust along with Stourhead House, its grounds, and the rest of the contents by Sir Henry Hugh Arthur Hoare, 6th Bt (1865 – 1947) in 1946.
