Figure, soft paste porcelain painted in enamels and gilded, William Duesbury and Co., Derby, Derbyshire, England, after a model by Meissen Porcelain Factory, circa 1770-1775. A standing youth holding a posy; the missing hand should hold a basket of flowers. Base incised 'No. 30.'

Listed in the ‘Inventory of Heirlooms at Stourhead directed to be taken by the Will of the late Sir Richard Colt Hoare Bart.’, 1838, in the China Cupboard, as one of ‘Thirteen White China Figures’. Bequeathed by Sir Henry Hugh Arthur Hoare, 6th Bt (1865 – 1947), 1946.
