Summary
Oil painting on canvas, An Unknown Lady, possibly Swiss school, circa 1780-85. A half-length portrait, to right but head turned to the left, wearing a lace cap trimmed with pale blue satin ribbon, net fichu similarly trimmed and the her dress has lace frills at the wrists. She holds a rose at the top of its stem in her right hand.
