Summary
One of a pair of Derby candlestick figures. A man playing the bagpipes; a dog at his left side and a lamb at his right. Bocage background supporting candle nozzles. He wears black feathered hat, turquoise-lined pink coat and yellow breeeches lined with orange and gilt flowers. The wave-scroll bases outlined in turquoise and gold. Circa 1770. No marks.
