Summary
One of a pair of Derby figures. A gentleman standing before bocage treestumps. He is holding a lamb under his right arm, and apples in his left hand. More apples are in a basket at his left side. He is wearing a turquoise lined coat, flowered breeches, a black hat and shoes. Base with two scroll feet, decorated in turquoise and gold. Circa 1765. Marks; J 2 3 (incised).
