Summary
One of a pair of Derby figures. A lady standing before flowering treestumps, playing the triangle. She wears feathered headress, pink bodice, turquoise-ground, flowered skirt. The elaborate wave-scroll base painted in turquoise and gold on green rockwort feet. Circa 1770. (Patricia Fergusson, 2004, states 'The Idyllic Musicians’', the triangle player).
