Summary
Oil painting on canvas, The Last Supper, by Giovanni Domenico Ferretti (Florence 1692 – Florence 1768), signed, bottom left: Gio. Ferretti, circa 1755. The table is placed on a dais with a servant standing at each end; the twelve Apostles are seated in a semi-circle with Christ breaking bread in the centre. There is no known original by Santo di Tito in S. Croce, Florence that this was traditionally supposed to be after.
