Oil painting on canvas, A River Landscape with a Castle at Sunrise by Sebastian Pether (1790 – Battersea 1844), signed and dated, bottom centre: Seb. Pether 1842. A river landscape with rocks and tropical vegetation at the right, a fantastic palace at left and a bridge crossed by herdsman and cows. A pair to NT 719389 - 'Moonlight'.
