Summary

Oil painting on canvas, A Seascape, style of Peter Monamy (London 1681 - Westminster 1749), 18th century. There are cliffs at the right and on a bank in the foreground are two men; in the foreground a small boat is unfurling its sails; out to sea a man of war is firing a salute.
