Summary
A Sega Mega Drive video games console. The top of the black plastic console has a slot at the top in the centre where video game cartridges can be inserted and at the bottom right corner there is a Sega Mega Drive logo in white. In the bottom left corner on the top there are three buttons: a sliding control button for volume, a sliding on/off power button and a push button marked 'RESET'. On the front edge there is a connection socket for headphones on the left hand side and two nine pin sockets for the controller units on the right hand side. On the rear of the console there are three further sockets marked 'RF OUT', 'A/V OUT' and 'ADAPTOR'. On the underside there is a black paper label in the centre with a Sega logo, the model number of the console (1601-05) and its serial number (420070878), all printed in silver.
