Summary
A Sinclair ZX Spectrum +3 Home Computer. The top side of the plastic computer has a standard set of letters, numbers and symbols for a computer/typewriter keyboard with 'sinclair' embossed at the top left corner in red letters, '128K' in the top centre also in red and 'ZX Spectrum +3' embossed in silver lettering in the top right corner. At the right of the front edge there is a floppy disk drive into which disks containing games and graphics software can be inserted. On the rear edge there are nine individual ports for various electrical connections and other disks. From left to right these are marked in white letters as: 'DISK B', 'PRINTER', 'PSU', 'EXPANSION I/O', 'RS232/MIDI', 'AUX', 'RGB/PERITEL', 'TV', and 'TAPE/SOUND'. On the left hand end of the keyboard there are two sockets for joysticks marked 1 and 2 and a small reset button. On the underside there is a white label that has the serial number 'U105623' printed on it in black. The ZX Spectrum is a home computer designed by Sinclair Research between 1982 and 1987. It was one of the best selling British computer systems, selling over five million units. The +3 model released by Amstrad was the final official Spectrum model.
