Summary
A cassette tape ‘Music at Exeter Cathedral School 1989’ that contains recordings of sixteen songs, nine on Side One and seven on Side Two. The black plastic tape has a light blue label on each side that has ‘MUSIC AT EXETER CATHEDRAL SCHOOL 1989’ printed across the top and ‘PLEASE SEE INLAY CARD FOR DETAILS’ printed across the bottom. On the right hand side of the label on each side is printed the tapes catalogue number ‘SOSS D137’. Side Two of the tape features a song titled ‘Electric Thunder’ credited to a Christopher Martin, then aged twelve, who also plays keyboards on the tape. He became better known as Chris Martin and went on to achieve global fame as the lead singer of the British rock band Coldplay.

Recorded on 18th and 19th May 1989. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood from Omega Auctions on 19th May 2019 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
