Summary
A white paper insert sheet for the cassette tape ‘Music at Exeter Cathedral School 1989’. The front of the sheet features a drawing in blue of a schoolboy holding various musical instruments, above which is printed in blue ‘MUSIC AT EXETER CATHEDRAL SCHOOL’. Below the drawing, also in blue is printed ‘1989’ and ‘Director of Music STEPHEN TANNER’. The sheet also has printed details of the sixteen songs included on the tape, names of the performers featured on it, song writing credits and the dates when the music was recorded (18th and 19th May 1989). The catalogue number of the tape (SOSS D137) is printed on one end. Side Two of the tape features a song titled ‘Electric Thunder’ credited to a Christopher Martin, then aged twelve, who also plays keyboards on the tape. He became better known as Chris Martin and went on to achieve global fame as the lead singer of the British rock band Coldplay.

Included with a casette tape recorded on 18th and 19th May 1989. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood from Omega Auctions on 19th May 2019 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
