Summary
Thomas the Tank Engine, the locomotive part of a train set made by Hornby titled 'THE WORLD Of THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE'. Consisting of Thomas the Tank Engine, two passenger coaches named Annie and Clarabel, two open wagons and a brake van. Seven straight rails, nine curved rails, one set of points, two power connecting clips and one mains power controller. Thomas is coloured blue with a black cab top and smoke stack. On his sides he has a number 1 painted on in yellow also red lines which enhances his shape. On the front of the smoke stack is Thomas's happy face.
Provenance
A gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Diane Greasley in 2017. Bought at Christmas for her four sons who spent many happy hours playing with it.
