Summary
A George III sterling silver pap boat. The boat is oval shaped with a pouring lip at one end and has no handle. The object is hallmarked, including the date letter ‘h’ signifying the year 1763. It is also engraved on the end ‘MN to EN’. The pap boat would have been used to dispense food to babies.

Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay on 27th July 2017 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project
