Summary
A postcard from the ‘Arrive Alive’ road safety campaign. The front of the postcard shows a street scene with traffic and pedestrians and has the slogan ‘Arrive Alive’ in large blue letters at the top. In the bottom right corner also in blue letters it says ‘A Highway Code for Young Road Users’. The rear of the card is blank but contains lines where an address can be written and has a square box showing where a stamp can be affixed. At the top in the centre on the rear ‘£1’ is written in pencil and also the number ‘349’. At the bottom on the rear of the card ‘THINK’ is written in yellow text with ‘Road Safety’ written underneath in blue letters. The card was published by The Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions.

Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay on 5th September 2018 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project
