Summary
The instruction booklet for a Peter Pan card game dating from the 1940s. The booklet fits inside the card game box and is made of card which has been stapled together. On the front is an image printed in red of Peter Pan playing a flute/pipe while standing on a rock with clouds behind him. Underneath are the words ' Rules for Peter Pan Card Game'. The card game is part of the Pepys Series published by Castell Brothers Ltd, London and Glasgow, Great Britain with permission from the original publishers of the Peter Pan card game Messrs. H. P. Gibson & Sons Ltd.
Provenance
Donated to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Jane Shuker in 2015. Owned by the donor and her sister Mary in the 1950s or early 1960s.
