Summary
A Fisher Price Yellow Toy School Bus 192 with driver wearing a blue hat.The bus has yellow plastic wheels with red tyres the wheels running on metal axles. The bus has FISHER PRICE TOYS written in black lettering on the sides also showing along the sides a lithograph showing children running together on one side, on the other a school class room scene with teacher and a side door for entry. The front of the bus has two moveable headlights in the shape of blue eyes, a yellow plastic string for pulling along is attached to a wooden chassis running underneath the bus. A large stop sign at the rear with two red rear lights and yellow indicators. When pulled along the driver's head turns, the headlights (eyes) of the bus move up and down and the bus makes a motor sound.
Provenance
Gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Tim Joyce in 2017. Bought for the donor for birthday and Christmas presents by his parents and also played with by his sister Emily and later played with by their children.
