Summary
A Pelham Puppet named School Master he has pink skin and red eyes, white hair red lips and moveable mouth on his head he wears a black mortarboard. He has a white shirt, a black jacket and black trousers and black feet. Strings are attached to his head, mouth, hands, waist, legs and pointer, the strings travelling up to a wooden cross bar operating mechanism.
Provenance
A gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Miss Verity Holmes in 2017. Belonged to the donor as child probably bought for her as a present when aged 10 or 11.
