Summary
A Pelham Puppet named Cleaning Lady she has pink skin and green eyes, red lips with a moveable mouth, brown hair and on her head she wears a yellow hat decorated with a red feather. She wears a white blouse with a brown patterned skirt and has black feet. Strings are attached to her head, mouth, hands, waist legs and a dark brown headed mop and bucket, the strings travelling up to a wooden cross bar operating mechanism.
Provenance
A gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Miss Verity Holmes in 2017. Belonged to the donor as child probably bought for her as a present when aged 10 or 11.
