Summary
A die-cast toy model 'Matchbox Series' vehicle, No. 73 'MERCURY'. The model is of an estate car painted in bright green with cream moulsed seats inside, and two dogs with their heads out the boot. The paintwork is lightly scratched in some places. The base plate unusual has two number options for the model 'No. 59 or 73', this is bacuse the plate could be used to fit another model.
Provenance
Collected and played with by donors’ late son, Marcus, and donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mr and Mrs John Parry in December 2010.
