Summary
The battery operated board for an Electric Quiz Master game. The game is a Merit product made by J & L Randall Ltd in England. The board is made of thick card with a yellow question sheet stuck to the surface. At the top is hole where a light bulb should protrude, but it is missing. Either side of this are two wires, one red and one blue, with metal 'heads' which are used to answer the questions. Halfway down the board are two metal 'knobs' which are used to fix the additional question sheets into place. Underneath the board is the fixing for a battery, however there is no battery fitted.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mr Peter Best in May 2011.
