Summary
A 'Donkey Kong' game, one of eleven game 'cartridges' made to be compatible with the 'ATARI' Video Computer System console. Released by Nintendo in 1983, it was originally an arcade game. The aim of the game was to save the 'Lady' (later re-named Princess Peach) from the giant ape 'Donkey Kong', by playing the part of 'Jumpman' (later re-named Mario). It was only the second game to have multi levels, and was one of the first to have storyline elements and animated characters (for example words appear in speech bubbles beside characters at various points). The game is a black cartridge with a stuck on label with words and pictures.
