Summary
A 'Space Invaders' game, one of eleven game 'cartridges' made to be compatible with the 'ATARI' Video Computer System console. Released in 1980 this game was the first official licensing of an acrade game, onto a home console. The game was a Japanese shooting game, and the aim was to defeat waves of aliens with a laser cannon to earn as many points as possible. The game is a black cartridge with a stuck on label with words printed on.

Bought by the donor in c.1980 for £100 and donated to the Museum of Childhood by Trevor Tarbox March 2012.
