Summary
A 'Frostbite' game, one of eleven game 'cartridges' made to be compatible with the 'ATARI' Video Computer System console. Released in 1983 by Activision, the aim of the game was to help 'Frostbite Bailey' build igloos. The player did this by jumping on floating blocks of ice, whilst trying to avoid deadly hazards, and the rapidly dropping temperature. Each level had to be completed in 45 seconds. The game is a black cartridge with a stuck on label with words and pictures. Slight staining on the label.
Provenance
Bought by the donor in c.1980 for £100 and donated to the Museum of Childhood by Trevor Tarbox March 2012.
