Summary
A GORF" game, one of eleven game 'cartridges' made to be compatible with the 'ATARI' Video Computer System console. The game was originally intended to be a tie in to the impending release of a new Star Trek film, but when the creators read the script they changed their minds, and so changed the name to GORF, an acronym for 'Galactic Orbiting Robot Force'. The player is in control of a spaceship and has four missions to defeat various enemies by firing shots at them. Once the four missions are completed, the player has to complete the same missions at a harder level. The game is also noted for using a synthesized voice, a new feature at the time. The game is a black cartridge with a stuck on label with words printed on it.
