Summary
'Donald', a die-cast model of one of 'The Scottish Twins' Douglas and Donald, from 'Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends'. Donald is painted black with red and grey detailing and the number 9 painted on both sides in yellow and outlined in red. It has a moulded face, and painted on each side near the front the name 'Donald' in yellow on a red background.
Provenance
Collected by donor’s children and given to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Mrs Sue Fraser in August 2012.
