Summary
A die-cast model of Thomas the Tank Engine, that comes as part of a set with carriages 'Annie' and 'Clarabel', from 'Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends'. The model is painted in blue, with black and red detailing and the number '1' painted on both sides in yellow outlined in red. Thomas has a stick on face, to allow the owner to change his expressions. Some damage to the paintwork, and the stick on face is starting to peel away.
Provenance
Collected by donor’s children and given to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Mrs Sue Fraser in August 2012.
