Summary
One of eight moulded and painted joints of meat for hanging in the butcher's side of a pair of model shops. It is a medium cut, possibly a leg, with a metal hook. The foot of the joint is missing and there are some cracks in paintwork.
Provenance
Given to the donor’s mother, possibly bought from Harrods, and donated to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by the Venerable Chris Hawthorn in April 2012.
