Summary
Part of a chemistry set in a wooden box. There pieces are as follows: A thin glass tube with open ends with three different angles, horizontal, vertical and set at an angle. This tube has a broken end. A thin glass tube with a piece of rubber attached to one end. A long thin glass tube jointed at the top into a different direction. At one end is a piece of rubber. Part way through the longest part is a rounded piece of rubber in which the main tube passes through a hole. An additional hole is in this rubber in which a smaller parallel glass tube protrudes in the same direction as the main. This parallel tube ends in a piece of rubber. The main tube shows evidence of chemical stains. A long thin glass tube similar to the above, but longer. This tube also passes through a rounded piece of rubber with two holes. Out of one hole, the glass tube changes direction and tapers at the end, another piece of rubber covering the middle of it. Out of the other hole, on the main piece of rubber, is another parallel tube which changes direction at the top. These glass tubes do not meet. A long thin glass tube ending in an open rounded bowl shape. A large rounded glass tube. This has rubber covered entrances at each side. Two smaller tubes protrude in different directions to each other, one each towards each end. A long glass horizontal tube with a vertical glass tube in the centre. At the top of this middle section is a glass handle joined to a cork. Two smaller stumped glass tubes protrude from this section, each ending in corks. Total number of items is 7.
