Summary
This white enamelled pouring cup object (possibly late 19th century) may have been an 'invalid's cup', but has been used as a vessel for pouring ink into ink wells (possibly Victorian). The front half of the top of the cup is covered to prevent the contents pouring out over the rim. It was used for pouring ink into inkpots (traces of ink may be seen in the base of the spout). This object may have been manufactured as an invalid's cup.
