Summary
A bisque-headed doll representing a Japanese girl, probably made by Schoenau and Hoffmeister, with wooden arms and legs with ball joints, a composition body. She has brown glass open and shut eyes, painted facial features, an open mouth with teeth, black mohair hair fastened in a bun on top of her head with metal hair pins, wooden hair pin and two hair slides. She is wearing a cream jersey vest, a cotton print kimono in brown, blue, pink and cream with yellow edging at the neck, sleeves, hem and front, and a yellow sash. She has a small yellow and turquoise enamel butterfly brooch attached to the front. She is holding a small paper and wood fan, red with a white design.
