Summary
An empty wooden lantern slide box made of pine with butt joints which are pinned and glued. The top and base are also glued and pinned. There are two hinges to the rear and two hook and eye fasteners on the front. The inner surfaces have not been sanded to finish and carries grooved timber pieces which create slots numbered 52 to 100, in which the slides could be stored. The numbers 2 and 22 are written by hand inside the lid in pencil and/or crayon.
