Summary
The trousers of a 'cowboy' outfit, which consists of a waistcoat and trousers, made from red cotton fabric, printed in white with 'wild west' images which are very faded. The trousers have red and yellow, looped woollen braid inserted at the side seams and a waistband which is only elasticated at the front.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Gary Hepworth in 2008. The donor used to wear this with a black felt hat with a star on the front, and carry a plastic 6-gun 'just like the real thing'. He cannot remember if these items all came together as a set. He was aged about 5 or 6 when he was given this set, in the 1960s.
