Summary
A yellow painted wooden child's high chair (possibly 19th century). The back and seat of the chair have a perforated design. The top of the chair and the side arms are carved. Attached to the armrest by screws is a hinged tray with ledges which rests on two wooden dowels on the outside of the armrests. A wooden footrest is attached to the chair by a hinged metal bar. The legs of the chair have three turned wooded stretches. The bottom front and back stretcher have two pairs of metal wheels. The legs have an `S' formation with a wooden dowel between them. A metal mechanism, attached to the underneath of the chair seat, allows the legs to spread and be supported by the wheels.
