Summary
An earthenware child's plate with rim decorated with a scene from a nursery rhyme on the inner base. It shows a brown cat in pink suit and yellow cummerbund playing the violin, a grey cow jumping over a yellow crescent moon; a brown dog in a brown jacket and white trousers sitting in a brown chair and cream and a brown dish and spoon. A music stand holds music entitled ‘HEY! DIDDLE DIDDLE’. On top of plate rim are the words 'BABY'S PLATE'
