Summary
A metal magic lantern painted black and gold, which is nailed to a wooden plinth also painted black. It consists of three detachable parts: the chimney; the burner and the lens. The burner may be accessed via a hinged circular cap at the back. The top of the chimney and the end of the lens are of brass. The lantern is badly worn and scratched. .
