Summary
A periscope made in Manchester by F. Duerr and Sons. The periscope consisting of a rectangular black painted metal plate at each end, joined together with a metal extending concertina-like mechanism. Each metal plate has a mirror covering its interior surface. The black painted areas are very pitted, and the extending metal bits are rusty, but the periscope could probably still be extended and used.
