Summary
A tinplate fire engine painted red with a yellow extending turntable ladder, and yellow painted instruments and bumpers. The wheels and tyres are tinplate, painted red, black and silver. Two firemen in dark blue uniforms with white helmets, probably moulded in plastic, sit in the two seats. A large metal bell behind the firemen is worked by a friction wheel which is in contact with the ground when the vehicle moves. The clockwork motor, no longer working, is below the turntable, with a fixed key in front of the left hand rear wheel.
