Summary
5 glass lantern slides all with wooden frames and rectangular in shape. They all have painted illustrations and in each case an extra piece of glass laid over the image which is moved backwards and forwards in order to animate the image. The subjects depicted are as follows - 1. A man receiving a shave from an old man with a cut-thoat razor. 2. A pear and father, mother and 2 children standing beside it. 3. A man pulling off another man's shoe and falling over in the process. 4. A blacksmith forging a piece of metal on an anvil. 5. A monkey pulling off an old woman's wig. Total number of items is five
