Summary
A bisque-headed walking doll with moulded facial features, open and shut blue glass eyes and partially open mouth with teeth. Her head was probably made by Franz Schmidt and Co. She has a blonde mohair wig and hollow metal body. Wood or composition jointed arms and hands. Hollow metal legs and feet painted to imitate boots. On the right hand side of her body there is a hole where she can be wound up to work her clockwork mechanism. The key is missing. She is wearing a cream lace dress with two cream cotton petticoats; the outer one is trimmed with lace. She has a natural coloured straw hat with a beige ribbon round it. The hat is lined with fabric.
